The best affiliate marketing tools are the ones that cover each job in your workflow: a network or platform to find programs and get tracking links (CJ, impact.com, Awin), a link tool to brand and track those links (Replug), tools to make content (Canva, Grammarly, Semrush), tools to reach your audience (Constant Contact, Manychat, ContentStudio), hosting for your site (Cloudways) and analytics to see what works (Usermaven).
Below are 12 tools grouped by the job they do, with features and plans taken from each vendor’s own website, checked October 2026. Prices change and some vendors show prices in your local currency, so check the linked pricing page before you buy.
Disclosure: this is Replug’s blog and Replug is our product. ContentStudio and Usermaven may share an owner with Replug. We don’t use affiliate links in this list.

What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a performance-based arrangement: you promote another company’s product with a tracked link, and you earn a commission when someone you referred completes a qualifying action, usually a sale. The brand pays only for results, and the tracking link tells it which affiliate sent the customer. If you’re still choosing what to promote, see our list of the best affiliate programs; this article is about the tools you use once you’ve picked them.
The workflow usually looks like this:
- Find programs on a network or a brand’s own affiliate page, and get approved.
- Create links with the network’s link generator, then brand, organize and track them.
- Make content that helps people decide: reviews, comparisons, tutorials, videos.
- Reach your audience through search, social, email and messaging.
- Measure results: clicks in your link tool, sales and commission in the network dashboard, traffic in your site analytics.
5 things to look for in your affiliate marketing tool
Before getting into the list, here’s what to check for any tool you consider:
- Ease of use: you should be able to create a link, find a report or schedule a post without hunting through menus. Use the free plan or trial to test the tasks you’ll do every week.
- Budget: check the price at your volume (clicks, contacts, sites or seats), not just the entry price, and whether the yearly price is billed up front.
- Customer support: look for documentation and a help center you can search, and the support channels included in your plan.
- Feature set: match features to your workflow. A link tool needs click analytics and UTM tagging; an email tool needs segmentation and automation; a network needs a link generator and reliable reporting.
- Reviews and ratings: read recent reviews on independent review sites and in forums, and give more weight to reviews from people who work like you (bloggers, creators, publishers, brands).

Create, brand and track your links
4. Replug
Replug is a link management tool. You shorten links on your own branded domain with the link shortener, and see clicks, unique clicks, countries, devices and referrers for each link. That makes it easier to see which post, video or email sends the clicks behind your commissions. Replug tracks clicks, not sales: commissions and conversions stay in your network’s dashboard. Learn more about affiliate links and how they’re tracked.

Replug is a complete link management solution, so you also get UTM tagging, retargeting pixels (Essentials and up), A/B testing and traffic routing (Scale and Agency), deep links into apps (Scale and Agency), call-to-action overlays (Essentials and up), bio pages and QR codes. According to Replug’s pricing page, the Free plan includes 100 short links, 2 bio links, 10 QR codes and 1,000 clicks a month; Essentials costs $19 a month ($9.50 billed yearly), Scale $39 and Agency $99.
One rule to know: some programs don’t allow shortened or cloaked links. Amazon’s Associates Program Policies say you won’t use a link shortening service in a way that makes it unclear you’re linking to an Amazon site, and won’t cloak the site a click comes from. Check each program’s terms before you shorten its links.
Key features

- Retargeting pixels
- Traffic routing and A/B testing (Scale and Agency)

- QR codes
- White label (Agency)

Conclusion
You don’t need all 12 tools. Start with a network or program to get links, a way to track clicks per channel, and one tool for the content you make most. Add email, chat automation or analytics when they solve a problem you actually have.
When evaluating tools, ask yourself:
- How user-friendly is the interface for the tasks you do every week?
- Does the price fit your volume, without unexpected charges?
- Is support responsive, and is there documentation you can search?
- Does the feature set cover your goals, including the reports you need?
- What do recent reviews from people like you say about the tool’s strengths and weaknesses?
Whatever you use, disclose your affiliate relationships. The FTC’s Endorsement Guides FAQ says a disclosure should be clear and conspicuous, close to the recommendation, not hidden behind a link.
