Who can add a clickable link to a TikTok bio?

According to TikTok’s Help Center article “Adding a website link to your profile” (checked October 2026), you can add a link to a website if you have at least 1,000 followers or a Verified Business Account. The path is Profile → Edit profile → Add next to Links.

• Links open inside TikTok first. TikTok opens profile links in its in-app browser and may ask people to continue in their phone’s browser.
• Use a direct web link. TikTok says it no longer supports links that open or log you into other social media apps, and recommends direct links. The normal open.spotify.com link that Spotify copies is a web address, so it works.

Which Spotify link should you share?

Spotify’s help page “Share from Spotify” says you can share songs, albums, artists, playlists, podcasts and your profile: tap the three dots (or right-click on desktop), choose Share, then Copy link. Pick the one that matches what you want people to do:

Artists: link the other way too. Per Spotify for Artists help, you can add a TikTok link to the About section of your Spotify artist profile, along with Instagram, Facebook, X, Wikipedia and WhatsApp channels.

How to connect Spotify to TikTok (save songs you hear)

3. Choose Spotify. The Spotify app opens; tap Agree.

To change or remove the connected Spotify account: TikTok’s help page says to go to Profile → Menu ☰ → Settings and privacy → Music → Save to music app, select the app, then tap Unlink (or pick a different app and tap Switch). Sign in to the other Spotify account in the Spotify app before you connect again. TikTok notes the option may not be available everywhere, and only original songs that are on Spotify can be saved.

• People can’t open your playlist: check the playlist’s privacy setting in Spotify before you share it.
• “Connect Spotify” doesn’t appear: update both apps; TikTok says the feature may not be available in every region.
